Big Ideas was launched in 2003 to help stimulate innovation and enterprise within young people, individuals and existing businesses.

Over the past three years, Big Ideas has developed a range of programmes designed specifically to drive innovation and enhance links between educational establishments and businesses.

As well as helping over 2500 youngsters to develop their innovative ideas, Big Ideas has also provided learning opportunities for over 250 teachers.

The team is currently running an ICT Youth Challenge project which is designed to inspire the entrepreneurs of tomorrow by providing a unique opportunity for young people to develop and nurture their innovative ICT ideas in a fun and stimulating environment.
