Neighbourhood Renewal Fund
Administered by the North East Business amd Innovation Centre (BIC), the Neighbourhood Renewal Fund (NRF) programme aims to help people get their business ideas up and running by offering practical support and finance.
*To be eligible, you should:

be over the age of 18
-
not be enrolled in full time education
-
be unemployed or employed but not self employed
-
have lived for at least six months in an eligible post code area
-
have a business idea but not yet started trading
-
be enthusiastic
The North East BIC is dedicated to helping people develop their business ideas and over the years has helped hundreds of individuals to start their own businesses. Our advisers will help you to develop the practical skills by providing one to one guidance and group learning activities.
We will also provide:

funding - up to £1500

a mentor to help you develop your business plan

an opportunity to share experiences with other individuals in the same situation

practical hands on advice and support
